It's excellent, but quite old. The people of Alpha Centauri have horses and cows and wolves. They even call THEMSELVES Centaurians. It's part of an abandoned mythology that the Star Trek universe is full of Human beings who were transplanted by the Preservers, an ancient alien race.

I agree! Plus, the people are all named after their planet. But Humans aren't from the planet Hum.

I liked the book (not movie) Star Trek First Contact where a Terran ship goes to Alpha Centauri, and they're just humans who speek Greek. Total mindfuck.

I had a similar experience with the video game Digimon World: Next Order. I ran out of obvious goals, and the gameplay was becoming repetitive. Then I checked how long I'd been playing, and it was over 1,000 hours. I realized, I've had my fun and the game is basically over now.

I agree. But not only Avery Brooks. Ira Steven Behr was practically an antifa anarchist compared to Berman.

TOS did amazing considering most Americans at the time were deprived of Human rights either for being a woman or non-white.

By TNG's time, I expected more and better, but they did worse.

I agree, it's offensive how white and male TNG is.

Only one character is a Human being who isn't white. He's also the only disabled character.

Only one Human character isn't American, and he's Western European.

The only woman not in a nurturing role is killed off in Season 1.

Zero Latin people.
