This is outstanding, given the Cambridge Analytica terror was about that company saying it had created a virtual electoral reality in a box that they could use to rig elections, and the Guardian 100% believing that was true. Morgan would IMO be better thrapping it on Pornhub 24/7 than this.

Most people do not have a media studies degree and IMO it is not unreasonable for people to assume their political and media class would not combine to actively decieve and defraud them. They’ve been repeatedly told any suggestion that type of thing happens is an insane, apeshit conspiracy theory!

Israel/Palestine was never a unified all-media hate session until around 2018/19, because it became a weapon to deploy against the anti-austerity movement. But everyone bullshit themselves so hard into a corner over that, there was nowhere to go except “this is the good, non-negotiable genocide”.

Britain can’t function now without regular hate sessions to remove anyone brave or dumb enough to go against the grain, with detailed exemplary kickings to demonstrate what will happen if you open your big mouth. *That* is why it’s been all awkward silence on the genocide for most of the duration.

MPs sobbing into video cameras: “our local party members kept saying it was vital to recognise a Palestinian state, it was so terrifying, I have never felt such menacing vibes”. Commentators queueing up to explain how insane, obsessive and extreme this behaviour was, and automatically disqualifying.
