Sorry, more Agami Heron. If you get tired of these birds, you might have to mute me for a month!

These orange Poppies were not only a stunningly luminous orange color in the full sun, but contained this amazing anatomical form at their center. I had no idea that Poppies were so structurally complex! When we pay attention in life, the mundane becomes extraordinary.

I’m almost as impressed by the well composed ALT text for these photos as I am by the breathtaking beauty of the wild horses!
At the Onaqui Mountain HMA, the stallion Ash, who shares a band with stallion Red Lion, is having some big feelings.

It's National Play Outside Day!

Affirmation Coyote urges you to get away from your computer or device and romp around a bit. Maybe practice with the choir.

Astounded at the beautiful detail in this border decoration in an illuminated manuscript from the 13th century.

I guess I shouldn't tease the name Blue-throated Goldentail without showing the golden tail!

Breathing in, I am calm. Breathing out, I am at peace.

Look up through the blossoms, and remember that the beauty of the world endures. Yes, despite all.

Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snows
Lies the seed that with the sun's love
In the spring becomes the rose

What a charming illustration! Love how the fox breaks out of the wheat field frame.
I've been working hard this week on small animal drawings. This one was added to my shop today, a red with a wheat field background...

I posted a picture similar to this one a few days ago, but that one had sun on the bird. In this one the bird is in the shade and the background has full sun. It is on fire!

Anyways, a great blue heron at Izaak Walton Nature Area in Longmont, Colorado.
