Costa del Cumbernauld…

My wife bought this humongous light shade for our bedroom which is next to my side of the bed. I’m 61, so when I inevitably have to go for a pee in the dark I hit my head off it every time without fail. I’m sure I can hear her stifling a giggle when it happens.

These 2 photos were taken at the same spot 40 years apart, haven’t changed a bit.

Autumn is subtly introducing itself, and I’m glad of its arrival. Summer was a let down.

My wife and daughter have been away to Italy all week leaving me and the cat at home. The cat has refused to come into the house for the last 6 days, I’ve had to leave food out in the garden. There is something profoundly disturbing about an animal thinking you’re a prick.

My daughters are now aged 25 and 30 so I thought sitting in the car waiting on weans coming out of buildings was a thing of the past. Stupidly, it never occurred to me that it would start all over again with grandweans.

Multiple soft furnishings, cushions, beds and rugs but no, he sleeps in a wooden bowl.

It’s an obvious choice really isn’t it? Even by the logo imagery alone.

This was taken in the yard of a previous workplace. From a wee hole in the concrete sprouts a determined little plant. I love this image.

I took this photo approximately 1 year ago just outside Shieldaig in the Scottish highlands, nobody will ever appreciate the discipline it took to endure the face biting midges in order to get the right shot.

Anyone noticed that Captain Birdseye has become more chiselled and edgy?

My granddaughter when she was a wee yin. I have also done this, and not only as a child. I highly recommend it.
