13 hens, and only one of them is noisy thankfully. She’s always out there, cackling, and hollering. It could be the most beautiful refreshing summer day, birds singing, clean water and fresh food, meal worms as a treat, and she’ll be hollering because the wind is blowing south and not southeast.

Last year I built this ladder perch for my girls to use. It went completely ignored until I adopted my four newest girls. They refuse to roost at night, but damn do they love sitting on this thing!
