A photo of a bicycle wheel that's been bent out of shape (though it's not entirely obvious at this angle). On the hub are 7 gears for the rear end of a bike chain, and opposite those is a quick-release latch.

Just received this email

Only one thing to do I guess
A screenshot of Protonmail on Android. It's an email message, above which is a notice from the app: "Automatic loading of remote content is turned off. This can be changed in the settings. [Load remote content]". As a result, the only thing visible in the message is a dozen "broken image" icons. There is absolutely no text in this email, just images to be loaded from who knows what Internet site. The sole exception is a line at the bottom: "If you wish to unsubscribe from our newsletter, click here"

The blending mode of the sunburn layer just happens to be "Linear Burn"

and I am very easily amused
A screenshot of IbisPaint on my phone, in which I'm drawing the sunburnt Ceilidh piece from my previous toot. The layers interface is on the screen, so there's a small thumbnail of the full image on one side, and on the other is the list of layers, each with its own thumbnail. I've highlighted layer 8, which is just the color red that makes up Ceilidh's sunburn. While the blending mode for most layers is the default "Normal," this layer, coincidentally, is set to "Linear Burn."
