Sounds like you are okay with 8 year olds going to school in the morning and never coming home. Good for you, nut realize that there are people who cannot make it make sense.

Thankfully, there has been very little development along coastlines in the last 90 years, so quantifying earthquake magnitude and tsunami potential is unimportant.
