The noise helps the home team. So when you play games as a guest, the "noise" effects lower the noise of their home fans. In Tournament mode, you always play the 3rd and 4th game away.

Yeah, the mobile version is cheaper because it has no Steam Workshop modding support and no Steam Remote Play.

Motorola has some pretty good ones, great price/quality ratio, very vanilla Android install without any bloatware. Also Nokia C21+ in the same category.

I'm not blaming Balatro for anything. I'm just saying that 18+ sticker doesn't hurt anyone and it might help in some rare cases where parents neglect their children and they take a wrong direction in life. Young kids cannot discern roguelike mechanics from predatory stuff when it's visually similar.

Idk, I am addicted to Balatro as well. I thought about this a lot recently, and I'm starting to accept that if a young child only gets to see poker as main addiction, it can affect them long term. It's maybe very rare, but if 18+ sticker can save one life, I think it's worth those missed sales, no?

POV: An acquaintance killed himself recently after being mobbed by local gambling sharks for his debt. I recall playing poker on C64 with him as 12-year old kids and he was enchanted by it since. It might have happened anyway, but I changed my mind. Both Balatro and loot box nonsense should be 18+.
