While some people might want to keep their talents to themselves, the aurora demonstrates that light and beauty are best given freely. When we share our gifts with others, they grow stronger. We make the world better by helping light the way for those around us. (4/4)

This reminds us of simple acts of sharing: children sharing their treats, musicians performing to make others happy, writers drafting emotions for others to feel. The Northern Lights teach us that beautiful things become even more special when shared with others. (3/4)

Solutions exist: Support local papers through subscriptions & advertising ($30 can buy an eternal printed memory!). While social media helps, we need professional journalism with editorial oversight to maintain informed communities. (4/4)

The economic impact is severe: local businesses struggle without advertising outlets & press coverage. Communities see declining economic activity & job losses when their news sources disappear. (3/4)

When communities lose local news coverage, they lose touch with local politics, education, public safety & community events. This leads to decreased civic engagement, lower voter turnout & reduced community participation (2/4)
