I make chili and tomato-based foods in my Dutch oven on a regular basis. I just made a batch of chili Mac a couple of days ago.

The key is to not boil water or acidic fluids for long periods of time and to clean thoroughly, with soap and water, and then dry on stovetop while rubbing in some oil.

The naivety of thinking a call to a Republican Congress member or Senator will work in today’s political climate is astounding. Although I appreciate the normal channels for middle ground issues, I am dumbfounded that this is the only play left in the Democracy playbook.

Coastal Georgia here. You haven’t lived cold until you wake up to a 33° morning knowing that all you have to keep you warm is shorts and flip flops.

I bet I won’t even be able to boil water at these frigid temperatures. How am I going to make my pitcher of sweet tea for today?
