in retrospect it is pretty incredible that the media pressed donald trump, a man known for lying, about his obvious connection to project 2025 a single time. he said “nope :)” and the mainstream media collectively accepted that as truth. what a useless bunch of losers

Even if Kamala Harris had been a lame, do-nothing president who made no substantive changes and maintained the status quo, it still would’ve been better than what we’re experiencing now. I really love living through historical moments that will be studied decades from now (if schools still exist).

I know folks like to dismiss the "auteur theory" but I feel like if anyone exemplifies it, it's #DavidLynch. No matter how weird his work got, I always felt like he knew what it all meant, even if no one else did. He was singular and unique in ways very few are. He will be missed.

Just realized Trump will be president on the country’s quarter-millennial birthday next year. Can’t imagine what kind of nationalistic horseshit we’re gonna get about how he finally made America great again on its 250th birthday (all while we’re in a war with Canada and everyone’s paying $9 an egg)

I re-watched The Substance on New Year's Eve (totally forgetting the ending takes place on New Year's Eve). Loved it just as much this time around so on New Year's Day, I made some weird, strange art that I hope captures the film's weird, strange beauty. Enjoy.
