Plein Airs day 10, a big avenue back in the capital. I visited the capital recently, and, as per usual, I got nostalgic. The capital has flaws, sure (many, many flaws) but I still can't bring myself to hate it. It has a charm to it I've not yet found anywhere else. It feels welcoming, timeless.

Plein Airs, day 3. This here is the junction in Salamanca to the highway that leads on one side to Morelia, and in the other to Aguascalientes. I saw this while on a roadtrip with 3 friends I love very dearly. We encountered this storm later, and nearly had us pull over.

Plein Airs, day 2! I was thinking about how, as holy week approaches, some people in my country will do some pilgrimages to the Virgin Mary cathedral down in the capital, where they will ask for favour, or express gratitude for a miracle, by going up a long set of stairs entirely on their knees.

April is here, and along with some seasonal allergies, also comes the beautiful tradition of making plein airs all month! Hopefully, this year I'll manage to finally make all 30 of em!
