On the one hand, I tend to agree that the statement rambles through some of their grievances over the years. On the other hand, it's no secret that the relationship between the supporter trust and left has been contentious and it would be disingenuous to pretend otherwise.

There seem to be two conflicting narratives coming from the club/sources: 1) succession planning has been moving for some time and this was planned; 2) the Lewis family forced him out suddenly today. Can you help us square that circle?

That's it. Levy did what nobody else could do. You can complain about a lot of choices he made (I have), but all that money he made the club made them winners far beyond any peer.

Rating transfer windows is so difficult. We won't really know for a couple years whether it's good or bad. It's all narrative and trying to assign future success based on previous performance.

I'm confused by your argument here. We've been strongly linked to most of the names on this list, it seems pretty focused to me? Rodrygo, Savinho seem to be optimistic efforts to sign extreme talents.

Before the game, there was talk Spurs would be embarrassed. That we should do well to keep them from bagging any more than 3.
