Nope. Hardest part about bike commuting is and always will be sharing the road with other drivers, like this guy….

Ever notice that there’s seems to be fewer drivers/fewer traffic problems when it’s really cold, rainy, or generally unpleasant weather? Likely because there are fewer non-essential trips on those days. Less 1km drives to Timmie’s for double doubles. Less rips to Avondale for a pack of smokes, etc.

This mornings “Winter Weather Advisory” in Hamilton made for a bit tougher bike-commute. 30min instead of 24min. Drop tire pressure, slow down a bit, get there safe 🤷🏼‍♂️

Oh yes. A cyclist counter along Hunter! It’s 7am on November 25th, somewhere within Canada’s “6-month winter”, and already 13 cyclists have come by this morning 🗝️🙌🏼

Wow today’s city council meeting was an all-timer.

The opener: a motion to tell the prov. government to stay out of municipal infrastructure decisions.

Then the main event: a motion to ask the prov. government to use the notwithstanding clause to remove homeless from public parks.
