The Beach Boys twelfth album, Smiley Smile, released Sept. 18, 1967, on Brother Records. Several cute animals are peeking out from dense, lush foliage. Behind the leaves in the centre, a partially hidden house has smoke wafting from a chimney to spell the band name and album title. From the looks of the elephant especially, these animals are getting a contact high from what the Boys were smoking.
