Prompted by something in this, I asked Google who scored the fourth goal in the 1966 World Cup final:

"The fourth goal in the 1966 World Cup final, which secured England's victory, was scored by Geoff Hurst."

It then (correctly) tells me it was a West German.

For the first time I can remember, the Guardian's photo coverage of Pride in London includes one with a bi flag in!

Caption? "Supporters prepare to watch the parade go by".

Maybe one year it'll recognise bi+ people as participants...

For the past (cough) years, I have been certain that I saw the first meeting of the London Bisexual Group on 1st Sept 1981 advertised in Time Out during my first week at uni.

Turns out that Time Out staff were on strike for months, and they didn't publish until mid-Sept...
