I've been kind of out of it for a bit, and I realized I didn't mention why on this platform. Dee passed away a few weeks ago. She's no longer in pain, and that is a relief. The house feels very empty, though.

A lady driving by said she's seen me walking Dee for years, and she wanted to congratulate me on my weight loss. I don't see it day-to-day - I just know I've gone through a lot of sizes of clothes! Today I decided to search up old pics. They say always take pics. They're right.

My neighbor washes his car more in a week than I do in 5 years. He's doing it now, which is inflicting more shame than I had planned on during this yard sit.

I just discovered that one of my favorite Chinese actors also happens to sing my absolute favorite Cdrama OST, and I am now in a thorough swoon. And there are playlists on Spotify. How did I not know that Liu Yuning can SING???

After a solid year of going to the vet every month, today Dee *finally* made the connection that after she gets on the scale, she gets a treat.
She got on the scale THREE TIMES, all while looking longingly at the treat jar, with everyone applauding her. 🤣🤣🤣
