It makes me concerned about who's behind the current iteration of Valiant. At best, they're either incompetent or indifferent to blatant hate rhetoric. At worst, they're showing signs of courting the CG crowd. (at the expense of their pretty progressive current supporter base)

Dude's social media was full of homophobic/transphobic memes and other right-wing drivel. It also wasn't the first time something he wrote could be interpreted as reactionary (see: the weird jab at pro-choice activism in a previous Bloodshot book). And he's a professional translator!

Don't worry, there's still been some really good stuff post-Hickman, playing in the sandbox he created. (most notably IMMORTAL X-MEN, which focuses on the Quiet Council , and X-MEN RED, which follows Storm and the Arakki on Mars)
