It's OK, because according to every American I debated / discussed it with on Slashdot in the early 2000s (after the 2020 election demonstrated the US was a failed democracy), all the things that are happening are impossible, because the US has a Constitution.

It's a really callous, ugly way to express a larger truth. The same thing applies to Florida. At what point in the current sea level rise curve do we throw in the towel, stop throwing good money after bad, and retreat? 1m? 5m? 10?
