Last week, it was great to be able to work alongside fellow @biaza.bsky.social member, @edinburghzoo.bsky.social, to share knowledge and expertise on providing dedicated expert care to a colony of #GentooPenguins.

Our Crew loved meeting the Rockhoppers and King penguins too! 🐧

Thank you to @chesterzoosci.bsky.social and @biaza.bsky.social for the chance to present my research on visitor effects on wild dogs at today’s BIAZA Research Conference. This was my first ever conference, and my first time presenting, so I really appreciated the friendly supportive atmosphere
The first speed talk session covered jellyfish lightning, wild dog visitor effects (with Bayesian stats!), baboon contraception and cassowary calls. A great showcase of the variety of research that goes on in BIAZA Zoos #BIAZARC2025

How cute is this?! 🙈 Last year, at Manor Wildlife Park, I got a snap of this adorable little meerkat! I've seen plenty of these across the UK, but never a baby 🥰

We are so proud to be featured in the shortlist for the BIAZA Great British Wildlife Restoration award!

It's just wonderful to see the projects carried out by BIAZA zoos across the country - we are doing our part protect native species by facilitating cryopreservation in the UK.
