T. Rex!

It took on the shapeshifting beast while the players had to run, avoiding the battle of titans raging around them. The T. Rex claimed victory of course. Been laying the ground work for this encounter for weeks, so glad it paid off. Thanks to @rich-burlew.giantitp.com for the miniatures!

My favorite part of the Neverwinter Saga was Drizzt desperately trying to explain alien concepts like 'being kind' and 'giving a shit about others' to his teammates. You've got "The Companions" coming up next, which is one of my favorite books in the whole series!

I started with that too! I borrowed the books from a friend, and that's where he told me to start. The Crystal Shard can be a bit of a slog because Salvatore is still figuring himself out, but Streams of Silver is awesome. I love how alien and creepy he makes the Drow and the Underdark feel.

Did you start with the Icewind Dale Trilogy or the Dark Elf Trilogy?

One of my favorite parts is in the Neverwinter Saga when Drizzt sits Entreri down and tries so hard to explain altruism and empathy to him.

"Just one, just do one nice thing and see how it feels. Just try it. It won't kill you."

Oh that's brilliant. They have some of the best banter in the books.
