USNI out with some actual details. Contrary to what I think Trump promised (I might be wrong?), USNI citing Navy says construction to begin in 2030, not ships in the water in 2028.

I always thought "The Emperor's New Clothes" was a bit silly, a clear exaggeration. But here we are. Everyone around Trump has agreed to live inside his delusion.

A shameful anniversary for America. I remember my horror watching the attack, the righteous anger my students and I shared in class the next day, the deeper anger as later investigations proved the attack was part of larger plot to thwart our Constitution by our own President.
