It would probably be hard enough to convince Greece to approve a response to a Russian invasion of Estonia, let alone convince 26 members to send soldiers to Mali to lose against ISIS for 10 years.

I’m in favour of most of that stuff, especially expanding the definition of security to social and environmental etc but if they’re ok with some military spending then I just wouldn’t call that non-militarised!

I actually like most of what little I’ve seen of Zack Polanski tbh but I think if you‘re propose exclusively non-military solutions to massive active military threats you need to show your workings somewhat!

While I am no fan of Trump (he should not have said those things about Rosie O’Donnell), Maduro is no angel. Is war good? I can’t answer that for you. But the important thing is to tune out and blame literally everyone else except the country doing the war.
