Today I honor my father, CSM Spencer Gilliard, who fought in Korea and twice in Nam after serving as a guinea pig in Korea, the only black soldier in his platoon. Here he briefs the Sec. of the Army on troop readiness in Viet Nam. He went on to serve 30 years as a CME pastor. My hero, my father.

GA Gov. Kemp often brags about having a $14.6 Billion budget surplus. Yet he isn't willing to step in and save SNAP-- the admin he supported cut--because he sees it as a "federal problem." Instead, he lets his 1.4 million citizens try and make it without their benefits. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

President DTW, 45/47: "There's some people who really don't deserve to be taken care of in a shutdown and we'll take care of them in a different way". In 2019, however, he said "all federal employees, those who work and those who don't," will be paid back, once it's over. Tell traffic controllers.

The beginning of the end of a Democratic society is the denial of free speech and governmental control of the media that challenges the leadership of those in authority.

There's something you think you'regetting from him being president {that} is more important than him being a racist." Stuart Stevens, Lincoln Project advisor. 8/12/20
