Queer bog creature. (They/Them) I usually write some combo of spooky, speculative, or sexy. I'm published in 10+ places under a different pen name.

Currently editing my trans/gay Frankenstein retelling "Ought to Be Thy Adam".
My people my people 🤝

I see you've got a queer fantasy story incoming for Bluepit. LOVE. Is it "The Witch of Eden Hollow" or another project?

Thank you! Hopefully I'll be able to submit to agents this summer and get it out to the world. ☺️ It's truly been a labour of love.

Crossing my fingers for you because the personality hostile takeover is so real. 😮‍💨

When you open a book and it has a fantasy map you KNOW you're in for some good eating.

Oh my god the job application comparison 🫣. It's great that you have such a positive attitude and feel that need to get your story out to the world. 👏 I'm going to cross my fingers that it gets picked up though!!

Sapphic gothic horror you say? Say more.

I also find it interesting how many people use well-known Greek figures (Plato, Sokrates, Psyche) in their ads. There was definitely a connection between Victorian era queerness in Germany and the Ancient Greek aesthetic.

That's so exciting! How did you find querying overall? I'm both excited and dreading it later this year. Self-publishing is cool though, definitely way more control.

And I'm working with a developmental editor (and alpha readers) right now on my draft. It's like a part-time job 😅.

🥹 Thank you so much. I got really excited during one of my preparatory Frankenstein rereads when I realized how well suited that line was.

Heeeyy, what's up? :) What are you working on?
January 9, 2026 at 2:44 AM
It's been loads of fun writing gothic horror and learning (way too much) about late 1800s medicine and queer culture!

Your story sounds sick!

👀 Queer, historical, and transmasc characters? Nice.
