I wonder whether anyone knows what happened to these 2 young women. The CDC did a serious disservice to us by not tracking patients over the decades to give us an idea of the paths that ME/CFS can take.

38 years later and #MECFS is still described as a “living death.”
The treatment Beth wanted never materialized.
We didn’t invest in research.
I hope she was one of the lucky ones and had a spontaneous remission.
