There is something beautiful in making your own decorations. Instead of purchasing Halloween decor for this year, I am making my own. Reduce, reuse, recycle. Shout out to my mother-in-law for giving me some of her attic cardboard from the 90's! This is only the beginning.

I got to spend time with #Bats today! Biologists were kind enough to host a bag-a-bat presentation. They humanely captured local bats for data connection and release. 🦇

There is nothing quite as dystopian as taking classes, getting certified, and looking for a position in a new career field only to find listings of temporary positions where the entire role is training AI to replace the very career you've been working towards.

I am a very lucky aunt to have been able to take my nieces blueberry picking yesterday. The oldest (who doesn't like blueberries)was so sweet and focused on picking as many as she could for her younger sibling as possible. Who knew siblings could get along? 🥹🫐

We moved some furniture into our spare bedroom today and turned it into our parallel hobby room. It is really nice to actually use the space we have and to make a sanctuary from the outside world for us.
