Our billionaire President put an airline lobbyist in charge of the Department of Transportation. So no, this is not a surprise.
The Trump administration has canceled the Biden era rule where airlines would have to compensate passengers for flight disruptions.

Every day, Republicans find new ways to slash community services to pay for their billionaire tax cuts.

Meanwhile, they've done nothing to cut the cost of groceries, or housing, or child care.
Five employees at the JFK Library in Boston were laid off today in connection with a Trump administration overhaul of federal workers.

"Without them, we are unable to stay open," a source tells @gbhnews.bsky.social. "It has been chaotic and we are seeking clarity."
