Just dreadful news to hear of Pete Medhurst's death today.
Spent a lot of time thinking about the passion Pete had for so much. The Naval Academy. Harness racing. Officiating. Lacrosse. A well-called game. And, of course, his family.
Wishing them as much solace and comfort as possible right now.

Pete Medhurst loved sports, broadcasting and broadcasters as much as anyone I’ve known. More importantly and tellingly, he loved his family and community as much as anyone could. Husband. Father. Voice of the Midshipmen. And much more. Praying tonight for his family, friends & USNA community. RIP. 🙏

Pete Medhurst loved sports, broadcasting and broadcasters as much as anyone I’ve known. More importantly and tellingly, he loved his family and community as much as anyone could. Husband. Father.
