Took me far too long, and not until I read it out loud.

I might add external drive(s) for my own cloud storage.
I disabled as many things on the phone as possible, but I might try changing from the stock android build to something else.
I might connect another old phone to run local ai, but I haven't figured out anything I'd willingly use ai for yet.

I still mostly stream via Tidal when not home. It's not much, but at least artists get paid a little with each listen.
I've wanted to do this for a while. It's great being able to carry my whole collection anywhere or connect from anywhere with internet.

My server setup:
Samsung A235f, 1tb microsd, Emby server, Anker usb hub w/ power delivery and ethernet, vpn meshnet connection

Currently using Kodi with EmbyCon on my laptop. Symfonium's free trial on my phone, but I'd like something else. I like VLC, but I can't get that to connect.

Made some food, ate, wrote number 101 start to finish in about 35 minutes.

I'm boring, so I stayed home tonight. But I might see if I can knock out one more song in the 95 minutes before midnight.

My lifetime total is at least 320. I don't have a good count pre-2023. I'll go again for at least 100 in 2026, but my big number goal is 1000.

I have planned out 3 solo albums with singles and b-sides, and 2 eps, and another ep with a side project.

I like about 30-40%, and I think about half of those are maybe worth releasing and playing live.

I'll probably do initial releases on bandcamp and physical, then push to select streamers. I'll do vinyl, maybe usb, some CDs, maybe some sort of digital download package, and extras.

When life cooperates, it's not too hard to write 3 in a day. But I don't always finish new starts. My songs are getting better. The bad ones aren't so bad, the mediocre to good-but-not-quite-great are better. The great outliers are still outliers.
