It’s just a simple and comforting game for me. Every game doesn’t have to be a Brass: Birmingham (which is my #2 of all time). Had a goal of getting TTR to the table more in 2025, but that did not happen. Hoping I can change that in 2026. Alternatively, there is a great app as well.

Ah, yes. I forgot it had a barrel. That and if protected is a minimum 25-30. Overall with the scope of the game the randomness of the mod war doesn’t feel all that impactful, but we’ll have to play more to make sure!

Also been on the top hotness since mid-October when backers started receiving it and it started getting played. But if you go off of retail release date, I totally get your 2026 choice. Be prepared for top 2025 video comments asking where is this and why it’s missing 😆

Not sure why they decided January 6 to be the retail release, but given all backers have gotten it and is being played now with BGG listing also being this year, I’d say it’s a 2025 release, not 2026. I think the retail release was pushed just so that fulfillment is complete in all regions prior to.

GotY 2026? I assume you mean for this year 2025? Seems like everyone is playing it lately. We played it once and enjoyed it. Need to play it more!
