So as much as everything sucks, we need to keep fighting. Don't accept bad faith arguments or the inevitability of evil's success. Look out for each other, especially those most vulnerable and targeted. Just. Keep. Fighting.

One month check in on my first attempt at homemade egg nog. First sip: it's *very* boozy, which isn't a surprise. It's also very smooth, creamy, and rich—solid nog characteristics. Very excited to see how it'll finish up in another month or so.

It was the weight of that realization...that not every hero can win *and* walk away from every battle that felt so meaningful, especially in light of what happened to companions along the way. Especially in light of real life. The most realistic ending ever.
