this is what people of color or economic disadvantage have been screaming about forever regarding cops jamming them up for goofs and cash bail and ginned up charges with no legal avenues out and qi or “just doin my job” for everyone in the system involved, it’s not a big step to do it to you

They are not the same but big pharma's net is wide. Cross a border and anything is a tenth of the price. Never into paperwork, never a need for insurance. Discovered a cancer and not in the files anymore after living abroad. Getting top treatment retroactively covered by govt basics. It is possible.

This detailed piece is really great to learn about how disinformation is made, then made "real" and used to affect policy. It's very hard to fight, and officials should get excluded from public offices over this or it'll never end.
