trump may be snatching innocent brown people off the street and traumatizing kids and communities but at least he’s making a notorious sex trafficker “happier” and “more comfortable”
Ghislaine Maxwell's prison emails show she is 'happier' at minimum-security Texas facility
Maxwell, a convicted sex offender connected to Jeffrey Epstein, was moved to a less restrictive federal prison this summer. Congress is investigating allegations of special treatment.

It is unconscionable that in the face of an openly fascist regime this set of democratic senators caved the way they did. Dereliction of duty.

(So we’re clear, getting federal workers back to work is amazing. None of them deserve this nonsense)

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.

Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.

This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

Something to keep in mind here: Presidential pardons only cover federal matters. As I understand it, many of the people he pardoned are facing state charges, and against those charges a federal pardon is like a fart in the wind.
