Here for the conversation, not to solicit followers. If you want to know who I am, read enough of what I post to figure it out for yourself.
Problem is, the lower courts hands are tied by the SCOTUS ruling in Trump v. U.S. holding that no matter what the President does under color of his authority as President, he cannot be prosecuted for it. They're pushing the limits in merely saying what he did is illegal. They CANNOT do more.

But but but... according to the Robert's decision in Trump v US, everything the President does under color of his authority as President is, ipso facto, LEGAL. Or, at the very least, HE cannot be prosecuted for it. If the "criminal" CANNOT be prosecuted, then what he did can't be considered a crime.

Ditto. Drafting a witness's declarations typically involves re-organizing their sentences into a coherent (usually chronological) order and replacing overused pronouns with nouns so that readers can follow the witness's story. It never involves adding anything the witness doesn't even comprehend.

Basically, what Leavitt is saying is "Every order THIS President gives IS lawful by definition b/c THIS Supreme Court SAID SO."

So, if Trump ordered hit top military commanders to walk into the Press briefing room and shoot all the males in the room and rape the females, that would be "lawful" too?

But, no doubt, a rainbow flag, or a pride flag WILL BE cause for disciplinary action? even courts martial?

Please explain how someone can commit suicide by hanging themselves WITH their hands and feet tied BEHIND them.

Do they tie a noose around their neck first and then tie their own hands and feed behind them? Or do they tie the noose after tying hands & feet

The November jobs report is going to look even worse then since it's going to HAVE to show the number of jobs lost or gained since September.

You don't have to be a lawyer to understand the concept of "quorum." Fed law says grand juries have 16 to 23 members and a quorum is 16. Twelve must vote to indict. Without a quorum, no GJ "business" can proceed. Signing a document purporting to BE an indictment is definitey "business."
November 20, 2025 at 3:22 PM
2/ Heck, it she had just waited an hour or so between submitting the two documents, there would not even have been a red flag to cause Comey's attorneys to start questioning what the hell happened here.
November 20, 2025 at 3:18 PM
1/ Probably. Since what happens in the GJ isn't usually disclosed to defense attorney and the rest of the grand jurors wouldn't have known ONLY two of them were there when Halligan got the signature, or that THAT was NOT the way it was supposed to happen... who was going to know?
November 20, 2025 at 3:18 PM
2/ Grand Jury panal should be given an attorney (not from the prosecutor's office) to advise them on legal procedures, how the system work & what their responsibilities are. Prosecutors should be prohibited from discussing ANYTHING procedureal, allowed to Provide FACTS about specific case only.
November 20, 2025 at 3:12 PM
1/ Grand jurors are just regular people who don't know any more about the law and procedures than the average person on the street. They choose their foreperson. Grand jurors trust that the professionals TELLING them how the system works are telling the truth. I'm beginning to think every (cont)

Hell, I think she could have used the original with the language the jurors had previously said "no" to clearly marked out IF she called ALL the jurors together to discuss and vote on it. Rules say 16 jurors must be present for a quorum and they can't do ANY jury business without a quorum.

I don't know if it's true but I've heard that they consider every international airport a "port of entry" giving them a license to operate with a 100 mile circle around any such airport. Under such an expansive definition of "border," there are very few locations in the US where they CANNOT operate.

Johnson wants the Senate to make revision so that the Senate can spend 6 months arguing over revision and then send the revised bill back to the House to spend 6 months arguing over (and revising again) then back to the Senate (rinse and repeat ad nauseum so the bill NEVER gets finally passed.)

It's a good sign for Democrats, but, given TX GOP cut margins in previously "safe" red districts to male purple districts more red AND the major swing toward blue evident across the country in Nov's election, you can bet TX House GOP members are sighing in relief about keeping the old maps.
November 18, 2025 at 7:48 PM
Given that TX GOP's redistricting efforts cut the margins on previously safe red seats and the clear swing of TX Hispanic voters and independent AWAY from GOP candidates, you can be this decision was met by Republicans with a sigh of relief at being saved from their own stupidy/cupidity.

I'm not a banker but, under the present regime, the obvious way to avoid seizures would be to call Trump up and offer him a small "ownershop share" in the property.
