Just FYI, According to the Bureau of Prisons Find a Federal Prisoner database, Alexander Smirnov is still in prision. He's being held at FCI Terminal Island. That said, Trump's DOJ did request he be released while they "reviewed" his plea agreement. The judge in the case refused his release.

It is very evident that EVEN IF there was a vehicle trying to leave the site, Father David WAS NOT blocking it's path of travel. On image below, red X marks exactly where he was standing. Vehicle gate and drive path are marked in yellow.

2/ Plus, Kirk was under an EZ-up (pretty much centered under it) and it was 12:20PM. The EZ-up put him partially in shadow. And depending on how tall the building where the shooter was, the edge of the awning might have hidden part of Charlie's head. A harder shot than a typical 150 yd shot.
