Also I spent Halloween leading the news team in costume as a Rockford Peach. It was a home run (is the joke I am required to make). I have the skirt version too but wore the jersey because I didn’t want to have to cross my legs all day.

I was trying to be funny not melodramatic when I told my eye doctor that if I had to I would win at being blind but she didn’t laugh (I’m fine now btw).

Super fun to see my wife through the eyes of her high school classmates at their 40th reunion this weekend. She was surprised so many people knew/cared about/remembered her with big smiles. I wasn’t. (See if you can spot her in this pic.)

Am also sending an actual hand-written note to Bjo Trimble, aka the First Lady of Fandom. She helped lead the letter campaign that saved #StarTrek and has inspired so many other fans. Her book, the “Star Trek Concordance,” remains a treasured possession. Oh and she just turned 90 (!)
