Among relatively current reasons to be angry at him, so many of my friends were pissed what he did to the Corvair. They said (and I don’t have the knowledge to dispute this) that going about it differently could have resulted in fixing the car rather than getting rid of it.

I suppose, but another thing to consider is many women in that age group have bone density issues. Being tackled could cause a broken hip. Broken hips are known to be quite life altering at that age.

I remember being a working mom, so I can sympathize with parents of young children. But still there are ways for them to help.
