Disingenuous. According to @NREL, for an 8kW residential system in the U.S., customer acquisition averages about $3,400 per customer, and profit margins average 16%—around $3,500-- hat’s nearly $7,000 out of a $21,000 system cost, whereas permitting and inspection costs total a mere $800.

I got estimates upward of $30K for a 3.8kW system in the SF Bay Area before we transitioned to NEM 3.0. I also found a non-profit to do it for $11K (before the tax credit).

Trump gutted worker protections, froze and cancelled projects that benched thousands of union workers, and drove 300,000 workers from their federal jobs. The raid is a stunt to distract from that reality.

Companies will do whatever they can within the law. Stronger insurance rules and regulations could have saved Brian Thompson’s life. Rather than fortifying CEO security, the insurance industry could be pushing for reform. ->
