Thought that maybe I hadn't made enough icing for my carrot cake...I was wrong 😬
A delicious carrot cake with FAR too much icing. Literally you could drown in the icing on this cake...or give yourself a mini cardiac arrest by eating it...which I did. Worth it.

This is what happens if you make homemade croutons out of stale bread but then forget to eat those croutons and leave them in the cupboard for a week. Just in case anyone is wondering.

Christmas has arrived at our house and the 8YO has spent the afternoon making her room full of Christmas spirit - she even has her own doormat! 😍

Since our local Sainsbury's opened Frank the Cat has hung out at the front, greeting customers and making everyone smile. The store has been open five years this week and they've given Frank a long service award certificate for keeping all the customers happy! ❤️😍❤️😍

CAKE!! There is a bakery near my mum and dad's that bakes THE best fresh cakes every day and sells them at a steal (this lot was less than £3) If I go to ma and pa's and DON'T go to the cake shop Pete and the kids don't let me back in the house 😬 We love cake ❤️🍰

Back at my parent's for the night and - although the clutter freaks me out - there is something wonderful about the physical photos that crowd the rooms. I am surrounded by the past, present and future of my family and it gives me pride for our legacy and hope for our future ❤️
