I always read the acknowledgments. What about you?
My experience is lots of people do read the acknowledgements, given the number of emails I get about something I put in them or comment to be about them at events and conventions. They're often a nice "cool down" from reading the books.
Does anyone read the acknowledgements at the back of a book? I do, but maybe I'm weird.
Am currently planning out what acknowledgements I want to put at the end of my next book (out in April) without going overboard. This book is literally decades in the making and lots of thanks are warranted.
