Haven't started a new thread for this in a while. Currently on chapter 17 of the audiobook. Helena's eye is hanging out of the socket like a grape on a vine and Ferron is apparently in love with her despite 0 development for their relationship.

Continuing the audiobook for this today. Surprised to say I'm not hating it.
Hot take, but this was probably an excellent fanfic. Unfortunately the bones of a good story aren't enough if the meat doesn't hold them together. Fanfiction cannot be published without a significant amount of re-writing which then removes it from its intended subject material. #Alchemised
