There are a few bits I'd have done differently, but then I'm a writer, it'd be weird if I didn't! If I had the time to write a review I might explore certain aspects, but it made me think, and that's a definite goal for me. All in all, worth a read.

It's styled a certain way (on purpose) with distancing, almost play-direction language which was a bit off-putting, but by the end I was inhaling it. It's a novella length but didn't take too long.

Agree the principle but content is just "the text and media in a website" etc. Using it to describe artists' labour is not cool but it's also a category error. Like, a DTP layout file ain't a book. Typesetting isn't writing. A gallery's exhibition isn't painting. Weird conflation going on, IMHO.

...told / acted, illustrated (cave paintings etc as support material), THEN written in terms of modernity. So anytime anyone says graphic novels / audiobooks aren't "proper" reading, give 'em that in return.
