I got to record Stephen Sondheim giving a rare class for high school English and theater teachers in 2014, when I worked for WNYC. It was thrilling. He got choked up when he told them teaching is “a sacred profession.”

Not the main point, but can we just say that this is a very odd email exchange for a reporter (Michael Wolff) to conduct with a source (Jeffrey Epstein)?
Esp a source who, 7 years pvs, had pled guilty to solicitation of prostitution w/ a minor, and who'd been sued by a victim just 3 months earlier.

This is how to build back journalism: invest in teens. They're the pipeline of talent and the audience the industry needs to survive. We just need to provide them with more opportunities. All schools should have student-led news publications.
