I’m at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the $20 billion climate grants case. The Trump administration has now entirely dropped from its legal case the EPA’s continued very public claims that grantees engaged in waste, fraud or abuse. Now stating repeatedly that this is not the government’s contention.

There are goals we share with Zeldin: clean air, affordable energy, strong domestic manufacturing, robust transparency & oversight. But we will never agree on his reasons for terminating our grant. The "evidence" he cites is misleading at best (mostly lies). That is why it has been absent in court.
Phang: And you’ve got to appreciate that the congresswoman was able to say, “Look, this ain’t Fox News, buddy. This is Congress.” So if you’re going to be here and you’re going to try to make an allegation somewhere publicly, you better be able to back it up.

In Georgia, these funds will help churches install solar and make community buildings more resilient to extreme weather like floods and heatwaves.
