I had already read multiple Stephen King books by that point, a bunch of romance novels (including VC Andrew’s). Nothing has ever disturbed me as much as Lord of the Flies. To this day the most frightened I’ve been was reading Dollhouse Murders by Betty Ren Wright in like 2nd grade.

Yeah, my daughters’ troop is combined, and it’s been great. They were basically acting as one troop anyway, since there were so few girls, and the whole pretense of having them separate seemed silly.

I would say that’s not even necessarily true. Our taxes and insurance go up every year as the county reassesses our home’s value.

I, for example have not had Braunschweiger in like ten years. It’s healthier not to eat that, but I wouldn’t brag about it online and no one would validate me if I did, and that’s basically the same thing that’s going on with these fitness influencers and alcohol. I don’t like it.
