May-October 2025: Stuffies, stuffies everywhere! Two of my cousins (and their spouses) have 5 kids between them, and four have asked me to make stufed animals for them. Behold the bunny, polar bear, unicorn, and shark.

And yes, I would love to make a stuffy for your kid. Seriously.

August 2025: I made another tank! While all BLO is a smidge of a pain, it worked up incredibly fast (maybe a week?) and I love how it looks. Will probably make another over the winter.

July 2025: I am 100% ready for sweater weather. This was a great low-brain use project...just keep making HDCs until it’s as long as you want. Boom, done.

June 2025: my first tank. Didn’t come out quite the way I wanted, and the slip stitch/turn every row made me terrified I wouldn’t have the correct stitch count. Also, using size 1 yarn is a pain in the ass.

April 2025: remember when I said no more blankets? Well, I was wrong. I made a moss stitch granny square blanket for the cat with a skein of a Caron Big Cakes I had laying around so maybe he would stop laying on my WIPs. Didn't work.

May 2025: dish/hand towels made for the office holiday white elephant exchange (the theme was gifts for the home). Still need to be sent to the recipient because we're a fully remote office, but luckily she's also a crocheter and knows that deadlines are merely suggestions.

INTERLUDE: the baby blankets were cat approved (boyfriend's cat). Also, I resolved to make no more blankets for at least six months.

February/March 2025: baby blankets for a coworker who was pregnant with identical twins. I finished the second one and three hours later her water broke (no lie). When I found out I joked the kids knew I was done and thought "time to evacuate"

December 2024: made another throw, this time for my boyfriend's ex-wife (we're cool). 20 squares of ten different stitches in two different yarns. Diagrams were involved.

October 2024: took me five months but I finished this Mondrian-inspired throw for my boyfriend's 50th birthday. All done in secret - I had to hide it every time he came to my place. During this time I also finished a cardigan for me because I needed something else to do to throw him off the scent.

June 2024: Wanted to try a new stitch so I made a bag using the Lemon Peel stitch.

June 2024: I got feisty and made a sweater. All HDC so super easy.
June 16, 2025 at 3:48 PM
May 2024: I made a scarf. As a newbie crocheter does.

The first four Woobles (AKA the gateway drug into crochet): a janky AF Woodstock, a donut, a narwhal, and a unicorn. I gifted the last three to my niblings.

Because who doesn’t like spending a day on their week off with their fellow @mocospurs.com masochists watching Spurs get dunked on?
