lol I got bed-rotting, which doesn’t bode well. Real Q though is which prof it was if it was at our alma mater!

I just finished watching Newsies. I think we all need a Kenny Ortega-directed reminder that those who control our attention and our information have the power to control us.

Grassroots but national is where the energy is right now. Like @boltsmag.org.

Unless you’re in the culture it’s hard to see how factious religious political drama has any relevance to “real life” elsewhere. The stories from 2010-2012 only got a tiny national blip when the maybe-sex-scandals surfaced. A cautionary tale that only a few insiders heard.

I cannot believe that no one has run with stories about Mike Johnson and the Judge Paul Pressler School of Law. It’s a story that ties together SBC/LBC abuses and takes them straight to Congress. (But what’s one more tale of corruption in politics or the church? Hardly a blip.)

I had to become a VA claims expert to help my husband get through the process. The online (free) knowledge-sharing on Reddit and our local (free) VSO equipped us to navigate the system. It’s not manipulation to have transparent criteria, decision-making, and support. Most vets aren’t grifters.

You’re the only person I follow who ever posts fitness content. And I realize it’s tangential to what you’re “known” for. But your example gave me courage and yesterday was my first personal training session at the Y. Thanks for that.

Mike Johnson was charged with opening a law school (in honor of a pedophile) in 2011. Failed miserably. (I was there.) His inability to lead is a feature, not a bug.

OKC was the first thing that came to mind.
