www.bestsf.net : reading SF since 1969 and reading and reviewing short SF since 2000 (on and off), and back in the groove in 2023... whoops back out of the groove ... hey back in the groove in late 2025
Hmmm, I've been and gone and read a short SF story, the first in two months. It was @aliettedebodard.com 'Mulberry and Owl' from a few years back. I found a lot to like about it, and nothing not to like about it.

We lost our 12.5 year old cocker Ringo in early August, which was a bummer. But we've adopted a c10yr old rescue springer, who needs lots of cuddles on the settee, so I'm reading with her next to me.

Well, here's a thing, my SF short story reading mojo has snuck back up on me, and I've read a couple of Years Best SF stories, from Grace Chan and Rich Larson, from @clarkesworldmagazine.com and @lightspeedmagazine.com and enjoyed them both.

I just looked at @clarkesworldmagazine.com, an old fave of mine, and what did I spot but a new story from none other than @michaelswanwick.bsky.social , another old fave of mine, and I read it, and am happy to report 'Unquiet Graves' is a great little story. And BTW just how freakin good is Bluesky?
