4/4 Since it is clear that the majority of folks detained/arrested by ICE/CBP/HSI have no criminal history it should be the default approach by SPD to intervene in cases w/probable cause to believe there are 4th amendment violations.

3/4 In short, when SPD officers see someone being detained they need to establish the identity of those doing the detaining & establish the legal basis for detention/arrest.

2/4 Federal supremacy is not relevant when the feds violate 4th amendment protections which the SPD are sworn to uphold. The 36th LD Dems have already unanimously passed a resolution outlining how to do this: docs.google.com/document/d/1....

Also note that Allen is wearing a black band obscuring his badge number, something that SPD policy banned during the summer of 2020 when SPD officers did this routinely to hide their identity.

2/2 From 27:11 to 27:23 SPD Officer Jeffrey J. Allen clearly states:
"I don't mind if you're undercover [ICE]... Put it this way, I don't mind if you are."
Officer Allen clearly feels comfortable sharing his pro-ICE feelings with a fellow right-winger/libertarian type.

1/2 Amy Radil was provided twice w/docs showing that SPD made false claims re: use-of-force by SPD against folks in crisis. Yet Radil continues to ignore the info & my perspective on the failures of Seattle policing. This information was central to Judge Robart ending the consent decree.

Howard Gale on X: "1/7 A repeated refrain at the hearing from Judge Robart was the importance & reliability of the data from @SeaOIG on SPD use of force against folks in crisis. This data is severely flawed & these flaws were shown to @stimesmcarter who chose to ignore them & only report "success"" / X

3/3 Countries like the UK & Japan for decades have found a way not to execute those in crisis wielding edged or no weapons.
But, trust @mayorofseattle.bsky.social, they will keep asking.
Maybe.

2/3 realizing how horrible that sounds Harrell claims "even if it's legal and justified under the law, we are asking our police officers, could there still have been something differently you could have done." Maybe they keep asking, but they can't seem to care enough to find the available answers.

3/3 Every one of these murders was deemed "Lawfull and Proper" by all parts of Seattle's police accountability system. This is stunning hypocrisy & abuse of John T. Williams' name & memory.
